How to level up friendship?
Gifts in Arknights Endfield increase your operatives’ trust. Without trust, you won’t be able to level up some of your characters’ talents. We’ll explore where to get gifts, who to give them to, and how to do it.
Why are gifts needed in Arknights Endfield?
Gifts increase the trust of operatives. Trust is a percentage between 0 and 100, displayed in the character’s profile.
Why trust is needed:
• Opens talent slots – without trust, some talents are blocked and cannot be upgraded
• Opens files with the character’s history – there is lore and details about the hero
Trust only unlocks talent slots, but doesn’t automatically level them up. Talents still need to be upgraded with materials and character ranks. Therefore, give gifts to the operators you actually use in battle.
How to unlock the gift system
To give gifts, you need to:
• Reach influence level 15
• Complete the story quest “Paving the Way”
After this, you’ll unlock access to the OMV Dijiang ship. This is where all gift-giving takes place.
Where to buy gifts for operatives
Gifts are purchased at the inventory redistribution terminal. The earliest terminal is located at the teleport point between the Center base and the workers’ dormitory in the Valley IV region. Gift prices range from 6,000 to 30,000 bonds. The selection is updated weekly and after the terminal itself is upgraded.
Each gift has tags that indicate what type of character the item is suitable for.
Types of hobbies: technology, nature, resourcefulness, culture, sports, art, creativity, fashion, lifestyle.
How to choose a gift for a character
Operatives have hobbies. You can view them in their character profile next to their portrait. A gift must match at least one of their hobbies.
There are gifts marked “Popular”—these change daily and provide the most trust. If you see one for the character you’re looking for, take it.
How to give gifts
Gifts can only be given on the Dijiang ship. Characters can be found in three locations: the Control Nexus, the Central Ring, and the Work Sector.
