  • How to play with Feat of the Mighty Wolf

“Feat of the Mighty Wolf” is a five-star claymore in Genshin Impact . It’s Varka’s signature weapon, designed for frequent use of standard attacks and elemental skills. We’ll explain who this two-hander is best for and how it performs on different characters.

Where to find the Mighty Wolf Feat in Genshin Impact

The two-handed sword can be obtained from the limited-time “Divine Incarnation” weapon banner, where it’s paired with Varka’s banner. The banner began on February 25th and will run until March 17th, 2026. Varka’s next appearance will be during the rerun.

Characteristics

Base Attack at Level 90: 608

Additional characteristic: 33.1% critical chance

Passive – Undying Chivalry: Increases attack speed by 10%. Landing a normal attack, using an elemental skill, or starting a charged attack grants 1/2/2 stacks of Hymn of the Four Winds. Each stack increases damage dealt by 7.5-15.5% (depending on the awakening). The effect lasts 4 seconds, stacks up to 4 times, and triggers every 0.01 seconds.

While the party has the Witchcraft: Arcane Rite buff active (two Witchcraft characters on the team), each stack of Hymn of the Four Winds increases Critical Damage by an additional 7.5-15.5%.

In short: the passive grants attack speed and damage stacks. If there are two Witchcraft characters in the team, the weapon also grants critical damage.

Which character should I equip a two-handed sword to?

Cooking

The ideal wielder. The Claymore is designed specifically for him. Varka himself is a Witchcraft character, so one Witchcraft ally is enough to activate the full passive. He frequently uses normal attacks and skill, allowing him to accumulate maximum stacks. Furthermore, the weapon’s critical strike chance synergizes well with the buff from his ultimate.

Razor

He can fully utilize his passive, as he is a Witchcraft character. He frequently attacks with standard attacks and uses his skill.

Navia

A good crit chance counter. Navia often uses her elemental skill, which partially activates her passive. It’s recommended to have Durin, Albedo, or Fischl in your team.

Mavuika

Mavuika doesn’t fail her normal attacks as often as her charged ones, and her passive doesn’t fully work. However, she’ll still deal critical hits. As with Navia, you’ll need two Witchcraft characters in your team if you’re counting on the passive.

Diluc

If Diluc is teamed with another Witchcraft character, he’s a good option. His rotation is built around his triple skill and normal attacks with infusion, which stacks well with the Claymore mechanic.

Eola/Fremines

Eola and Freminé are in similar situations: they have a harder time fully utilizing their passive due to the limited selection of suitable Witchcraft allies. They fit the basic requirements—they hit frequently with normal attacks and periodically use their skill—but they don’t receive the critical damage bonus in most teams.

Other carriers

For most heroes, Mighty Wolf’s Feat is a critical hit. To fully activate the passive, the wearer must frequently use normal attacks and the skill, and be in a team with two Witchcraft characters.

How to play with Feat of the Mighty Wolf

The team with the Feat bearer plays according to the following rotation:

1. The supports enter the field and distribute buffs. Bennett uses his ultimate, Kazuha gathers the enemies, Xiangling deploys Guobu.

2. Pocket damage dealers use their skills. Fischl deploys a raven, Durin resets his ult and goes into the pocket.

3. The main damage dealer enters the battle. Activates an elemental skill and unleashes a series of normal attacks. Periodically uses a charged attack or another skill to maintain stacks.

4. After the buffs wear off, switch to your allies. Repeat the rotation from the beginning.
