On February 16th, the Spiral Abyss was updated in Genshin Impact . We’ve prepared a guide to help you navigate Floor 12, which requires Lunar Reaction commands for speedy progress.
Genshin Impact 6.3 Floor 12 (February 16) – General Information
First half: Moon Charge damage increased by 75%
Second Half: Moon Crystal damage increased by 75%
Hall 1
First half: Fishermen of the Hidden Depths (15 pieces)
Enemies appear in groups of three and immediately create a protective barrier between themselves. The shield is broken by elemental attacks, but Lunar Reactions are faster. Focus on one fisherman—when their shield breaks, the others will group up on their own.
Any team of more or less upgraded characters released in the last couple of years should be able to handle this stage.

Second Half: Lord of the Frosty Night
At the start of the fight, the boss builds up a meter, after which he enters the Veil of Darkness. While there, his resistances to all elements are increased by 120%. To break him out of the Veil, he needs to land 50 hits—Lunar Reactions count as 6 hits at once, greatly speeding up the process.
After emerging from the Veil, the boss absorbs the element you attacked with most often and becomes immune to it for the rest of the battle. However, if you use Lunar Reactions or physical damage, you won’t be immune at all. The boss has a large area-of-effect attack, so bring a shielder or healer for comfort.
The most convenient way to defeat him is, of course, to use characters from Nod’s End. If you don’t have any, use a trick: let him intentionally absorb the desired element, then hit him with a reactive one. For example, cast Hydro on Furina, wait for the bar to fill and the immunity to activate. Then, connect Pyro (or any other) damage dealer and consistently trigger a reaction. For quickly building up charges, frequent Ticks are good, such as Xing Qiu with the Ceremonial Sword or Combustion.

First half: Shield Armor Crabs (2 pieces) and the Emperor of Fire and Iron
First, two small crabs appear, followed by a giant boss. The Emperor immediately creates a red Pyro dome around himself with his double horn. To remove the protection, trigger reactions with Hydro, Cryo, or Electro characters. The boss has 60% Pyro resistance, so it’s best to avoid fire damage dealers.

They appear in pairs, and when you kill one, another immediately spawns. These are enemies of the Wild Hunt, so without Lunar Reactions, it will take a long time to overcome their special state. Lunar teams clear them significantly faster. It’s advisable to have at least Aino in your team.

Hall 3
First Half: Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whispers of Nightmares
A boss with a huge HP pool (over a million at level 90). At the start of the fight, it lunges, teleports, and summons four Deep Sea Fishermen, simultaneously generating a shield equal to 45% of its maximum HP.
There are two ways to remove the shield:
• Attack the boss himself with Lunar Reactions – they are three times more effective than normal attacks
• Killing Fishermen reduces shield by 25% each
If the barrier is destroyed within 30 seconds, the boss will take massive true damage and be paralyzed for 10 seconds. During this time, all of their resistances are reduced to -60%, allowing for significant damage.

If you can’t destroy the barrier in time, try to use your active character’s ultimate just as Whisper of Nightmares activates its powerful attack. The damage will be missed, and you can safely drain the health bar after the attack. The only caveat is that it will take longer.
Second Half: Golem Legate
Spawns with a Geo Shield. Destroy it with Geo attacks or use a Moon Crystal—the crystals’ constant damage breaks the shield very quickly.
