While sailing the sea in Reanimal , you’ll encounter a large cannon in the middle of the water. It’s locked and inoperable the first time you encounter it—you’ll have to wait until the chapter “Leaving No One Behind.”
How to fire a cannon in Reanimal
The gun only works in the “Leave No One Behind” chapter. This occurs immediately after escaping the orphanage and jumping into the army truck. You’ll find a control room with a panel containing switches.
Find the code for the cannon. In the control room, take the binoculars and look out the window at the cannon. To the right of the cannon, in the lower corner, is a box with a diagram drawn on it. It shows the positions of the four lights.
Return to the control panel. Toggle the lights to the correct positions from left to right:
- Bottom position
- Middle position
- Top position
- Bottom position
Pull the lever. A crate of rockets for the cannon will descend by parachute.
Exit the control room through the destroyed door on the left. Go down the stairs to the beach and take the boat to the island with the cannon.
Pick up the rocket on the beach in front of the dome entrance. Have your partner open the cannon hatch and insert the rocket inside.
Turn the wheel on the right to aim. You can open the hatch for a better view using the button on the wall to the right. Aim the cannon at the large sea creature in the bay, then pull the lever and have your partner pull the other lever with you.
How to shoot the secondary target and get the “Not Canon” trophy
After the first shot at the monster, take another rocket and load the cannon again.
Turn the cannon west. You need to aim for the concrete building on the cliff—the same one where you entered the code on the control panel. It might be hard to see because of the fog.
How to get the “Secret Bunker” achievement
In the same room with the switches, you can enter an additional secret code. Set the switches to:
- Middle position
- Bottom position
- Bottom position
- Middle position
After this, you will immediately receive the “Secret Bunker” achievement.
